Mi chiamo Laura Binda
  Sono uno dei Soci Fodatori dell' ECI; Eurasier Club Italiano. All'interno del Club rivesto la carica di Responsabile Breeding Board,pertanto sono l'incaricata di valutare la richiesta di un cucciolo. Sono a conoscenza di tutti i cuccioli nati in ECI e quindi vi metterò in contatto con l'allevatore che non potrà darvi i cucciolo che 9 settimane dopo la nascita. Più tardi, vi verrà consegnato anche il Pedegree che, per motivi tecnici, richiede qualche settimana in più perchè sia pronto.

Il BB detiene un database in cui sono presenti tutti i dati degli Eurasier Riproduttori iscritti al Club( età, carattere e certificazioni veterinarie).Il Socio ECI che desidera accoppiare il proprio Eurasier, ne fa domanda al BB. Il BB effettua i controlli sul database alla ricerca del partner ideale ( dal punto di vista fisico e caratteriale ) e suggerisce  il soggetto adatto. L'ispettore del BB si reca personalmente nella casa dove nasceranno i cuccioli per controllare che vi siano tutte le condizioni ideali alla nascita dei cuccioli: comfort e igiene. la sala parto deve essere comoda e accogliente e mamma e cuccioli devono disporre di un morbido giaciglio, di tutta l' assistenza medica necessaria e devono essere circondati da tutto l' affetto possibile da parte della loro famiglia umana.
Il Capo del BB seleziona i propri Ispettori. Essi devono essere Soci ECI con tutte le conoscenze e la preparazione necessarie a rivestire questo ruolo. Per tale ragione il BB ha dei propri Meeting di aggiornamento, in cui vengono aggiornati gli Ispettori ed essi  danno un resoconto del loro lavoro.
Gli Ispettori seguono mamma e cuccioli dalla nascita alla loro adozione nelle nuove famiglie, poi continueranno a seguirli nelle loro nuove famiglie, verificandone lo stato di salute, la socializzazione ed il modo in cui sono accuditi..
Il BB organizza anche dei Meeting per chi si avvicina per la prima volta agli eurasier e vorrebbe adottare un cucciolo. In questi Meeting vengono date tutte le informazioni sugli Eurasier: storia, carattere, salute, stile di vita, ecc...
Il Database del BB è disponibile per tutti i Club Eurasier che hanno il nostron stesso Codice Etico.
(N.B. Il database ECi e il database BB sono due cose differenti: nel primo ci sono le informazioni sugli eurasier iscritti, nel secondo solo quelle sugli eurasier idonei all' accoppiamento).
A dire il vero, un cucciolo di eurasier non ha prezzo!

Cos'è la " CUCCIOLATA ECI” ?

Per cucciolata ECI si intendono cuccioli nati da eurasier iscritti al LIBRO RIPRODUTTORI ECI o, se stranieri e non iscritti, dei quali sia possibile esibire e controllare le certificazioni richieste dall' ECI.
Solo a questi cuccioli il Club rilascia il titolo di "CUCCIOLATA ECI".
Quando vi rivolgete all' allevatore per adottare il cucciolo, chiedetelo : una cucciolata nata da un allevatore socio ECI non è automaticamente una cucciolata ECI. Con il termine di "Cucciolata ECI", l' ECI garantisce l' assenza di malattie genetiche ed ereditarie nei genitori, lo standard corretto, il giusto equilibrio fisico e caratteriale dei genitori della cucciolata.

Perchè un eurasier sia iscritto nel LIBRO RIPRODUTTORI, occorre presentare:
1) pedegree ENCI completo (copia dell' originale)
2) almeno 2 foto a colori: una raffigurante l'eurasier di profilo e una raffigurante l'eurasier di fronte
3) certificato veterinario attestante l' assenza di malattie genetiche ed ereditarie e di malformazioni. L' eurasier non deve avere nessuna di queste patologie:
      - DISPLASIA DELL'ANCA
      - DISPLASIA DELLA ROTULA
     - DISPLASIA DEL GOMITO
      - MALATTIE TIROIDEE
      - MALATTIE DEL PANCREAS
      - DIABETE
- ANOMALIE DENTALI
- CODA ATTORCIGLIATA
- ENTROPION
- DISTICHIASI
4) breve profilo caratteriale dell'eurasier.

Solo dopo tutte le verifiche necessarie, compresa la valutazione caratteriale, il Club può iscrivere l' Eurasier nel proprio “Libro riproduttori”.

Dall'elenco riproduttori ci si potrà cancellare in ogni momento (sia il proprietario stesso potrà chiedere che sia tolto il suo eurasier, sia il Club potrà decidere di toglierlo per sopraggiunti limiti di età delle femmine, morte o seri e permanenti problemi di salute subentrati in seguito all'iscrizione ).

Il Socio che intende accoppiare il proprio Eurasier troverà a sua disposizione nel Club l'elenco dei soggetti disponibili, con relativo pedegree e info fondamentali sulla salute, nonchè potrà visionare le foto e una descrizione del carattere così da valutare l'accoppiamento migliore ai fini del preservare standard di razza fisico e caratteriale.
Si impegnerà a garantire ai cuccioli tempi e modi necessari per l'imprinting, la socializzazione ed il contatto umano, prima di affidare gli stessi alle nuove famiglie (mai prima di 2 mesi di vita).
Il periodo indicativo per l'accoppiamento è, per la femmina, tra i 24 mesi e gli 8 anni; per il maschio dai 14 mesi in avanti.
Una femmina non dovrebbe fare più di una cucciolata all'anno.
L'allevatore si impegna a notificare al Club la nascita della cucciolata.
In occasione della prima cucciolata, l'allevatore può chiedere che il nome del suo affisso venga registrato al Club. Il Club si riserva di accettare il suddetto, verificando che non esistano altri affissi con lo stesso nome.
Se vi siete innamorati di questa meravigliosa razza, e desiderate adottare un cucciolo, il primo passo da fare sarà contattare il nostro Club, nella persona della Signora Laura Binda. Dopo un attento colloquio sarà valutata la vostra idoneità ad avere il cucciolo che, il più delle volte , non sarà automaticamente ed immediatamente disponibile. Quindi, preparatevi ad una lunga attesa, almeno di alcuni mesi.
Se sarete ritenuti idonei, sia la vostra famiglia che la vostra casa, e sarete stati informati di tutto ciò che dovete sapere riguardo gli eurasier, il corretto modo di allevarli , e le procedure riguardanti vaccinazioni, microchip, consegna del pedegre, ecc... non vi resterà che attendere.
A nascita avvenuta, è buona norma che andiate a vedere il cucciolo fin dalle sue prime settimane, così che cominci a sentire l'odore di quella che sarà la sua nuova famiglia. Quando , espletate tutte le formalità sanitarie e trascorso il tempo necessario (9 settimane), accordatevi con l'allevatore circa giorno e orario in cui andrete a prendere il piccolo, così che non mangi prima del viaggio. Non appena giunto a casa, non fategli trovare persone estranee, ma unicamente i membri della famiglia e lasciategli esplorare tutta la casa, senza fretta, con estrema calma e tranquillità, non forzandolo ma lasciandogli vedere ciò che vuole e gli interessa. Stategli vicino ,ma senza stressarlo: concedetegli autonomia, ma non lasciatelo solo. Lui troverà certamente il posto che gli piace di più: per i primi giorni, laciatelo fare: ha bisogno di ambientarsi e sentirsi sicuro e protetto.
All'inizio, dategli da mangiare ciò che l'allevatore vi ha detto o via ha dato e preoccupatevi che abbia sempre acqua fresca e pulita. Di solito le prime notti non presentano problemi, se piangesse e fosse irrequieto, stategli vicino e rassicuratelo: in breve si sentirà tranquillo e al sicuro nella sua nuova famiglia, fidandosi di voi. Di solito l'eurasier sa da solo fin da subito dove deve sporcare: per i primi giorni, se fa i suoi bisogni in un luogo non idoneo, basta solo un fermo "NO" non urlato ,ma secco e deciso e nel contempo porlo nel luogo destinato alle sue esigenze fisiologiche, lodandolo ogni qualvolta espleterà i suoi bisogni nel luogo giusto. Il cucciolo ha bisogno di fare i suoi bisogni almeno ogni 2 ore e dopo aver mangiato: spesso una forte emozione come la felicità di vedervi, quando è piccolino, può  metterlo nella condizione di non riuscire a trattenere una pipì improvvisa.
Contate sempre sul Club per qualunque domanda riguardante il comportamento vostro e del vostro cucciolo.

For all your questions about puppies or breeding, please contact our head of Breading Board,
Mrs. Laura Binda, our Lady in Charge for placing the puppies. She knows all the puppies born in ECI and she contacts the breeder who , can give to you your puppy only when he's 9 weeks old. Later you'll receive the Pedegree: it needs of some weeks more,for technical reasons.




 
The Breeding Board has a database where are registered all the eurasiers fit for the mate (age, character and vet certifications).
 
The Member who would like to mate his eurasier, asks to the BB. The BB makes its controls on database searching for and studying on a good male or female for the specific mate; it suggests the subject and than inform ECI.
The Inspector goes to the home where will born the litter, to control that all the conditions of place and health are perfect: the room for the childbirth must be clean and comfortable, the "mom" must have a soft and roomy bed for herself and her puppies,they must have all the medical aid and love and support from her human family.
 
The Head of BB selects his/her Inspectors : they must be ECI Members with preparation and knowledges fair for this end. For this reason, the BB have periodic meetings to bring up-to-date its Inspectors and to receive from them a report on their work.
 
The Inspectors follow "mom" and puppies till the adoption. Than , they'll follow each puppy in his/her new home /family controlling, with visits at home, health, welfare and socialisation of puppies.
 
BB organize also meetings for anyone is intersted to adopt a puppy. In these meetings BB will give all the infos  about eurasiers: story, way of life, character, etc... since the moment of his/her birth to the future.
 
BB has its "database" available to all the Eurasier Club in the world with the same Ethic Code of ECI.

    (N.B. The database of ECI and the database of BB are two different things: in the first there are all the infos about the eurasiers members, in the second only the infos of the eurasiers fit for the mate)
To tell the truth an Eurasier puppy has no price.


What is the "Litter ECI"?
With "Litter ECI" we mean puppies born from Eurasier registered on the "Book of  Parents" or, if they're not Italian and are no Member of ECI we have the possibility to control all their vet. certifications, pedegree, photos and profile of character.
Only to these puppies, ECI issues the name of "Litter ECI". When you apply to a breeder to adopt your Eurasier, please ask about this: a litter born by a breeder Member of ECI is not , automatically, a "Litter ECI". With Litter ECI  vouches for the absence of hereditary and genetic deseases in the parents, the right standard, the right physical and psychological equilibrium of the litter.
To register an Eurasier on the "Book of Parents" we need of:
1)The ENCI Pedigree ( copy of the original pedegree)

2)At least two good photos in full colour and format filling:one of the whole dog from the side, head in profile; one of the head study from the front.

3)short characterial profile of the Eurasier

4)certificate from  a veterinary doctor about the condition of health: your eurasier must have no:
- hyp dysplasia
- patellar dysplasia
- elbow dysplasia
- diseases of thyroid
- diseases of pancreas
- diabetes
- disorders of teeth
- kinky tail
- entropion
- distichiasis


Only the litter born from two eurasiers signed on the "Book of Parents" receives the "Certificate of Llitter ECI". It attests the correct physial and psychological standard of the puppy.
Ask to the breeder to show to you the "Certificate of Litter ECI"!

The Member  who wants to mate his eurasier, can find in the Club a register of all the eurasiers that can do it, with photos and a characterial profile, so that it's possible to find the best fellow in order to preserve the physical and characterial peculiarity of the breed.
The breeder commit himself to ensure to all the puppies the right times and ways for imprinting, socialization and human contact, before leaving them in the new families (never before then they're two months old).
The age in which a female can reproduce, begins for the first litter with 24 months and ends for the last litter at latest at the end of age 8. The male can reproduce starting with 14 months and is then unlimited. A femal wouldn't have more than 1 litter/year.
The breeder commit himself to inform the Club about each new litter. When he has his first litter, he can ask to the Club for the name of his kennel. The Club verifies if doesn't exist any other kennel with the same name and then give its approval and registers the name.

If you are full of love for this wonderful breed and you want to adpt a puppy, the first step is to contact our Club. Mrs. laura Binda is our Head of Breading Board. After a careful talk, she'll consider your suitability to have a puppy:he'll not be immediately avaiable; so, you must prepare yourself to wait for him some months. If you'll be suitable and your family and your home too,and you are informed about everything ( eurasier breed, right way of breeding,vet certifications, microchip, pedegree, feeding, etc...) you must wait for him. When he's born, it would be a very good thing to go and see the puppy, since his first weeks of life and to leave one of your clothes, so that he can take up your smell and remember it: the smell of his new family! When, after 9 weeks and after all the first vaccinations, your puppy can arrive into his new home, please inform the breeder about date and hours when you would like to pick up your puppy, so that he doesn't eat before of his trip.
Once he's for the first time in his new home, let him explore all the new house. Please, no people out of  the family: it's his first day! Let him go everywhere he wants, be calm and quiet, don't force him to do anything. Give to him hia autonomy, but stay near at him. Later, he'll find a special place to sleep (he's very tired!): he needs to feel himself safe and guarded. Don't disturb him.
In the first days he must eat what his breeder has always given to him. Please, always fresh and clean water into his bowl. In the first nights he can cry: stay with him, calm and gentle.
Usually he knows by himself where to do his physiological businesses: say a NO, not shouting, but with firmness and put him in the place "right". A puppy needs frequently to do his physiological businesses: every two hours but, often, a great emotion can cause a sudden piddle.
Remember: you can always relay on ECI for each question about your behaviour and that of your puppy.
